A good Strider turnout for the 314th Ashford parkrun saw personal bests for Josh Whiten, Martin Whittingham and John Mitchell. Well done also to David Holland who completed his 50th parkrun.The first Strider to finish and 10th overall was Paul McDonnell who completed in 18.41, followed by Aiden Gorham 19.36, Rob Wood 22.18, Jason Wearn 22.53, Josh Whiten 23.05, Ross Sadd 24.21, Justin Burden 24.38, Gwen Protheroe 24.44, Reece Corner 25.18, Mark Archer 27.00, Daniel Forbes 27.18, Shane Snowwolf 27.22, Martin Whittingham 27.54, Jason Brice 28.20, Tamsin Ritchie 29.01, Vicky Stevenson 29.03, John Mitchell 29.09, David Holland 30.40, Michelle Brice 36.13, Samantha Stretton 36.14, Toyah Bicker 36.51 and Danielle Moss 36.54. Becca Hurley travelled to Haywards Heath to take part in the 4 lap undulating Clair parkrun completing in 29.58.
Lee Standen jetted off to Lanzarote to complete the Font Vella International half marathon and finished in 2.09.07, his best half marathon time of the year.
A group of Striders travelled up the road to Maidstone to take part in the festive 6.5-mile Turkey Run. Nicki Crawley was the first Strider to finish in 1.26.21 followed closely by Justine Wearn 1.26.22, Nettie Yardley 1.31.13, Rachel Oliver 1.31.26, Hazel Forrester 1.32.04, Nathan Mansfield 1.32.05, Lisa Jones 1.38.47, Lisa Fulcher 1.42.32 and Riona Sparks 1.45.34.

Alice Cook and Martin Whittingham both took part in this 5k Santa run which was not chip timed.
John Mitchell and Becca Hurley took part in Sunday’s Great Run Local completing in 29.16 and 29.18 respectively.
