Ashford Striders Run Report w/e 28/1/24

A short and sweet run report this week, but great running all round.

With marathon training in full flow and the first month of the year coming to an end, it’s been a relatively quiet weekend for racing.

On Saturday, a total of 43 Striders attended a Parkrun, 36 at Ashford, and 7 on tour.

Keith Haynes was first Strider across the line with a time of 19:37, followed by Dan Green with a time of 20:50, and Terry Sellen third Strider, with a time of 23:17

Parkrun Tourism

Justin Burden completed the Dover Waterfront parkrun in 23:25, Laura Clark completed the Dover Waterfront parkrun with a PB in 35:14, Emma Matthews completed the Folkestone parkrun in a PB of 36:17, Andrew Maund completed the Malling parkrun in 21:22, Jamie Penfold completed the Whitstable parkrun in 25:34, Justine Wearn completed the York parkrun in 31:18, Nadine Golding completed the York parkrun in 33:57.

Bromley Green 10km race 

Michael Davies completed the Bromley Green 10k in 43:53. 

Great running by all this week and some amazing distances covered by those in training. You are all superstars. Looking forward to our trip to Bushy next week……it’ll be a bumper report!
